2008 - A Year of Change - What did you learn this year? 2008 will go down in history as a banner year for many. For the first time in history, an African-American president has been elected to lead the United States. He has shown that nothing is out of our reach if we can believe "Yes We Can!" 2008 is a banner year for me. I have learned to let go of the last of old mindsets that kept me in my comfort zone and learned that sometimes we must love from afar. I've also learned that we must continue to go where we are celebrated and not tolerated; that it's okay for some relationships to end. What have you learned about yourself in 2008? In this issue, we will share with you lessons of life that we hope will encourage you to continue in your journey to success. It is our sincere wish that you will be able to use these lessons to conquer everything you lost in years past. As you enter into 2009, it's time to get back everything you lost from previous years. Accessorizing for your Face Shape 
Square Face: The goal is to soften the jawline by making the face appear more oval. The best way to achieve this effect is the begin with the neckline of the blouse your are wearing. For example, a square neckline would emphasize a square jawline; making the face appear more harsh. To soften the jawline, try wearing a v-neck blouse, which will pull the eye toward the center. The ideal style/shape of accessories for a square face are: EARRINGS: Round, oval or soft-edge earrings as well as long dangling earrings. NECKLACES: Longer chains or strands of pearls. V type necklaces will cause a slender look to the face. Avoid chokers as it will emphasize the squareness of your jawline.
